About the International of Proletarian Rock

The June 23th 2005 was known the pronouncement of Proletarian Rock, written by the comrades of Núcleo Terco, where is defined our cultural movement and its bases. At the end of 2006 were celebrated some informal meetings amongst members of Nucleo Terco, Komintern 43 and M.A.D. The aim was to create an organization which could keep us united, thus it was set a principal task: the creation of a Webpage and a forum of discussion, where all the ideas given by each band would be crystallized. Afterwards the tasks came to a standstill until middle of 2007. At that time was taken the project up again thanks to the support of bands involved in it, especially comrades of Mencer Vermello. That event meant for us a qualitative leap which shapes the international union of Proletarian Rock bands.

The International of Proletarian Rock is the union of bands and single comrades with similar ideology who are really interested in organized spread of Marxism and its history. Bands and single comrades around the world with different points of view of the revolutionary Marxism give shape to the International, being comrade Stalin the point of concurrence that gives us strength. This fact allows us to learn, debate and work for shared objectives even though diversity of thoughts.

We consider that the bands which define themselves as Proletarian Rock must be connected and organized within the International, due to the fact that we share the same history and ideology, in which critique and self-critique are the Marxists means of advance. They will make possible to develop our cultural movement. Furthermore, every member will play a leading part in active work for the International. On this way, we can deduce this affirmation: “It can not exist any proletarian rock band which is not organized within the International of Proletarian Rock.”

We express in our lyrics the Class Struggle because it is the Marxism history. The proletariat has written the history since the Paris Commune. Therefore, we consider the current struggles of Europe, America, Africa and Asia as ours.

In this way, we want to present officially the Proletarian Rock as a new cultural movement, the International of Proletarian Rock as the leading core, and the Web page and the future newspaper as media of expression.
