Declaration of Proletarian Rock Proletarian Rock is a cultural movement committed to serve our class’ interests.

This musical tendency is expressed essentially through the most anti-commercial and popular styles of rock music (punk, oi!, hard core, etc). The values transmitted in its lyrics are the thoughts and ideals of our class.

Marxism-Leninism is our guide and doctrine, refusing to follow revisionism, Trotskyism, anarchism, nihilism, or any other auto-destructive tendency. We do not look down on people who follow this, but we simply are not of the same opinion.

Within our movement, we accept the different Marxist-Leninist theoretical tendencies. Undertaking a Maoist or Hoxhist path will be each bands´ decision; there will not be any controversy with that. Instead, discussion of ideas and healthy confrontation will be promoted-what unites us is much stronger than what divides us. On the other hand, closed dogmatic positions must be avoided, due to the fact that they are Mechanist, anti-scientific and opposite to Dialectical Materialism.

Each band will express itself and spread its message in the whatever language they see fit. We will try to create a common place online where every Proletarian Rock Band will have a space to share everything and anything related to our movement. Every band is absolutely independent to act and work freely.

THEREFORE, EACH BAND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS BEHAVIOR AND DOES NOT COMPROMISE THE OTHER MEMBERS IN ANY WAY.

In this way, Proletarian Rock Bands must be aware that their actions represent the conscious Proletariat and even though there is no need for explanations, these bands are open to analysis by other bands.
